Archived from groups: microsoft>public>access>setupconfig (more info?)

I have written an Access 2003 program which runs fine on over 120 + computers
where I have installed the program. However, after installing the program on
a new machine running Access 2003 SP3 I now get the following message when I
try to run the program "missing file...mhlabl32.ocx". When I search the
computer for this file, the search comes up empty, yet on the machines where
the program runs OK I cannot find this file either. What type file is this
and whats it's purpose. I can find no mention of it on the web either.

Try:

http://www.google.com/search?q=mhlabl32.ocx&hl=en&filter=0

or

http://siteadvisor.pl/sites/isa.org/downloads/1375180/

Just not sure why it latched on to Access???

What you are seeing is the program that uses that particular file that
Access says it's missing. What you might want to check is Tools|references
in the form module and see if somehow it referenced on that particular
workstation.

Thanks Gina, I'll try to resolve next week when I'm on site. I had no idea
what I was looking at at first, but it makes sense now. I really appreciate
your help.

Remove it from your references and compile the project. Somehow it
got added in the past, near past or far past. Chances are very good
you don't need it.

Ctrl+G will take you into the Debug/Immediate window. Then click on
Tools on the menu bar and References.

Thanks Tony, while I didn't find any reference to the file, i did delete all
references I didn't reconize and the program appears to functioning normally.
I did have to install the SP3 hotfix to correct other problems as well. New
machines are my nemesis lately.
