Archived from groups: microsoft>public>visio>printing (more info?)

Hi there hope someone can help. I've got 50 users who have just upgraded
from Visio 2002 to 2003 but now when printing a chart in A3 size the print
comes out on A3 paper but the size of the chart is still A4. This is
happening on all of our printer. I've gone through the page setup and set
everything to A3 but still no joy

Any Ideas?

Under Page setup are two tabs that affect the printing. The first one, the
one you see when te dialog opens controls the printer attributes. The second
tab, controls the drawing page attributes. Check the settings on both tabbed
pages.

Thanks for the prompt reply John. I've checked all the settings within the
Page Setup tabs are set to A3 but still printing as A4 chart on A3 paper.
Print preview shows correct and works if I print same chart from Visio 2002.
Anything else you could suggest?

Would it be possible to post screen shots of both tabs in the page setup
dialog?

Same problem here. Visio 2003 does not print correctly to HP printer.
Visio prints 8.5x11 on 11x17 page. All print setup tabs are setup
correctly. Print preview displays the correct image and size. Happens
for *all* Visio 11x17 docs; but 11x17 prints from other apps (e.g.
Word) with no problem. Worked fine with Visio 2000.

Any suggestions?
