and grouped them together. they are fine now but below the pictures was text
and more pictures below the text. they all moved down. how can i keep the
page from moving in webpage preview. i am using true font and microsoft
script editor for default. also i created the webpage in word in web layout.

Do you have an URL for the web page? If you're viewing in web page preview (i.e. in your browser) that is pretty much the only
accurate view and that can vary between browser brands. It can also vary based on the preview and save type being .MHT or .HTM and
whether you're using Save as Web Page or Save as web page-filtered.

Bob,

>> Do you have an URL for the web page?

yes, but i'm not online yet

>>If you're viewing in web page preview (i.e. in your browser) that is pretty much the only accurate view and that can vary between browser brands. It can also vary based on the preview and save type being .MHT or .HTM

word keeps saving my pages as .mhtml and i don't know what the "m" in mhtlm
stands for or what it means. if it has anything to do with archiving i won't
understand that because i am not archiving anything.

> whether you're using Save as Web Page or Save as web page-filtered.

i am "save as a web page" and not "save as web page-filtered."

Saving as .MHTML indicates that Word is saving the webpage as a single file. The setting for this is in
Tools=>Options=>General=>Web Options
While there check to see what version browser is specified and the page (screen) size.

Without being able to see the page it's really just guesswork on what may have caused an impact. Browsers don't support all of the
features of MS Word, including all of its layout features, and unfortunately the Web layout view still uses some Word features that
may not be web supported.

For use on a public website you'll likely want to save first as a .DOC file to use as your master then use File=>Save As=>Web
Page-Filtered
when you are ready to get a more compact preview.

Hi Bob,

Been out sick and just getting back.
I went and checked and yes, i do have new pages to be saved as a single file
web page. It says, "people who view this page will be using Internet
explorer 4." Page screen size is 600 x 400.

What changes do i need to make?
