Archived from groups: microsoft>public>word>drawing>graphics (more info?)

Click & hold on the shape for a second before dragging, then hold down the
Alt key & start dragging.

To regulate the Grid & turn it on/off in 2007, select a shape to activate
the Drawing Tools>Format contextual tab, click the Align feature & select
Grid Settings...

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

How lame is that? When I turn the snap off (Grid Settings...), I expect it
to be off. But nooooooo, it still snaps and I have to do this Alt key
business.
