i am trying to start using outlook, but when I go to launch it i get an error
"Cannot start Mircosoft Outlook. Unable to display the selected folder or
item. Could not complete operation. One or more Parameter values are not
valid" I have tried reinstalling and that hasn't worked

Try configuring Outlook via the Mail applet in the Control Panel

Version of Outlook?
Type of account, ie pop, exchange or?
When using mail applet you configured a new Profile, new account, new data
file etc?
