I'm using Vista and Outlook 2007.
Most of the time I use outlook owa and am not connected to my server. I do
not want outtlook to be on line, but it always comes up looking for the
server and takes ages to decide it can't find it, and then won't do anything
while it keeps trying to connect unless I remember to set it offline as my
first move.
Can I (How can I) set it to come up with offline as the default, which I can
change to connect when I wish to?

Are you saying that if you set File->Work Offline before closing Outlook, it
tries to connect anyway when you next open Outlook?

My Outlook begins to open and then shuts down without showing the email inbox
list. How do I correct this?
All times are: Eastern Time (US & Canada) (change)
