I am trying to save a .docx file to .doc. I have tried saving as 1997-2003
file but the formatting is so off, the text hardly makes sense. How can I
save the file as I have typed it as a .doc? I am using Word 2007.

Please describe what you mean by the 'formatting is so off'. Any document
created in docx converts almost perfectly to doc format. Only the new
features are dropped.

Does he have

good visual motor coordination?

I tried to take a screen shot for you, but it didn't work. Next to the 2
there was an arrow indicating a tab with alot of space. There is nothing
personal in this file. If you would like a copy, please inform me how to get
it to you.
