I want to save all my moms documents on the CD-ROM in case my laptop
breaksdown or not in good use then I would lose them all. My mom wants it to
be on disks just in case. My laptop is a IBM thinkpad windows XP 2000. the
disk drive is on the right side. I have a Microsoft Word 2007 oh and by the
way all the documents are in my document.

You cannot save to the CD from Word. Use the disk mastering software that
came with the drive to copy the document to a CD.
