Post subject: Getting rid of error message regarding BCM office addin? Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>bcm (more info?)
Need to get rid of BCM office add in error message when i open an office
program (like word or excel). I just installed Office 07 Small Business WITH
Business Contact Manager. The other part of the error message I get is
office application version does not match. I uninstalled and re-installed
BCM and the error message is still coming up. BCM seems to work ok in
Outlook. All other programs work fine, too.

I was getting that too. I think after installing all updates and service
packs for office and bcm, it went away.

where do I find the service packs and how do I know which one to install?
One reply I received was to uninstall BCM as it is incompatible. Small
business suite states it has bcm, so why would it be incompatible?

Run Windows Update and install any updates it shows.

have Office 2003 with compatibility pack installed - windows update must
have installed BCM 2007 for some reason - add/remove program took care of
the issue!
