internet fax service or fax machine?

By: viorelia - hi everyone,

here is why I prefer internet fax service to fax machine.

We all know that in this difficult time of the financial crisis many businessmens go bankrupt. But to my mind the winners are those who start changing things in the right way, at the right time. New solutions for old problems, thats the secret. Someone, even try to take advantage of crisis "popularity", ...

Internet Fax Reviews

By: freezonepub - I found a good site with online fax reviews for the top online fax services. The surprising thing is that Efax got low marks for bad customer service - I say surprising because it is one of the oldest and most established internet fax services. Anyways, many online fax services are reviewed and compared, so it's worth ...

Can't get Microsoft fax delivery notification

By: Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlo - The fax client you are using will be unfamiliar to readers of this group.
State how you configured it to receive delivery notification. No fax client
i know of that integrates with Outlook supports that feature. Why don't you
just use the client directly if you want delivery notification?

By: Rich - I solved the problem. I guess it was a print problem sort of.

There were two error messages in the Event Viewer with Fax Services enabled:
One for a Brother Print Spooler and one for Intel Quick Recovery. The
Spooler was still in Services even though I had uninstalled the Brother long
ago. I disabled the spooler and deleted all the lurking Brother files that

By: Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlo - Cannot be done with any of the fax software that can integrate with Outlook.
Rules cannot be used to forward faxes in Outlook. Details here:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q191/7/76.asp

Also, You can't use forward with faxes. You have to Open the fax then Print
it to your fax printer and generate a new fax.

By: Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlo - State Fax software, Outlook version, sending method and attachment type.
Normally one would use the file's native print routine to send such a fax,
not Outlook. Outlook has no rendering ability unless you define a printto
verb for the file type at the OS level.
