Post subject: Why do outlook calendar & contact folders generate elsewhere? Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>general (more info?)
Since I reinstalled Outlook, calendar and contact folders have been
self-generating in whatever directory I'm working in. For example, while NOT
in Outlook and working in my My Documents, a random Calendar and Contact
folders self-generated and appeared in My Documents. They had no apparent
purpose and nothing in them. I delete them and they immediately reappear!
It's creepy and very, very annoying. Please help!

I've never seen that behavior. What version of Outlook are you using?
Do you have any 3rd party add-ins installed?
