Post subject: Is there a way to get outlook to auto set up reminders? Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>calendaring (more info?)
Is it possible for me to set up an event in my calendar in Outlook 2007 (in
this case an project deadline), and have Outlook automatically set up
reminders for different aspects of the project up to 8 weeks before the
deadline?
Also, would I be able to send this event to a colleague and have the same
rule apply to them, or would they need to set it up separately?

No, not possible using your idea. You can set up multiple tasks to
accomplish this however,
