I am trying to migrate a .dot template file which contained about 10 custom
icons associated with macros from Word 2002 up to Word 2007, and while I
notice the macros still work as desired, I cannot seem to find the custom
toolbar that was associated, and when I try to recreate the macro I cannot
seem to be able to choose the ability to customize an icon to be associated
with the macro.

How can I best get my Word 2002 toolbar to look the same way as it was in
Word 2007 without resorting to standard icons nor recreating about 10 icons
from scratch all over again?

Hi J.,

If you had a custom toolbar stored in the template when in Word 2007 you open that template, or use it as the basis of a new
document, the toolbar should appear in the 'Add-Ins' tab of the ribbon (assuming that in the Word Options Trust Center it's an
allowed action)

If you added buttons to a built in toolbar in Word those won't appear in Word 2007.
