Pooh is my favorite and I am feeling like Eeyore when I report that I clicked
on the link and it does not work for me. I will try again though. I should
let you know that in the past I tried uninstalling my firewall and it did not
solve the problem. Even though Pooh is my favorite - I am feeling like Alice
falling down the hole - getting deeper and deepter and more confused.

I have tried the link again (three more times actually) could there be a

ok then go to microsofts home page and in the search windows on upper right
put in 813514 and search your looking for a article called
"How to troubleshoot error messages that you receive when try to send and
receive e-mail in Outlook and in Outlook Express"

"Bother," said Pooh as he struggled with the computer.
"It never does quite what I want."
"I wish Christopher Robin were here."

i am having a similar problem.
I recently bought my laptop, and I installed outlook, and I also redirected
all my emails from Yahoo! to hotmail, now when I go in to set the account up,
so I can get my emails on outlook, it works fine but everytime I try to
either send and/or receive emails, it keeps giving me an error as shown
below
Task 'Hotmail: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error
(0x800CCCF6) : 'An unknown error has occurred. Please save any existing work
and restart the program.'
Task 'Hotmail: Folder:Outbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error
(0x800CCCF6) : 'An unknown error has occurred. Please save any existing work
and restart the program.'
Task 'Hotmail: Folder:Sent Items Downloading all items.' reported error
(0x800CCCF6) : 'An unknown error has occurred. Please save any existing work
and restart the program.'
