Post subject: Sending an e-mail to a distribution list
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>contacts (more info?)

For the first time when I try to send an e-mail to a new distribution list I
get a popup that indicates I need to specify what type of e-mail address it
is. I tried each option it gave me and nothing works.

Version of Outlook?
Is it a new DL? Did you create it from scratch or import it?
