Post subject: Question about .jpg file in Word document Archived from groups: microsoft>public>word>drawing>graphics (more info?)
Hi, I have a .jpg file in a Word document. I used the feature 'send to back'
so I could type some text over it. Now I want to 'bring to front', but I
can't click on the file to do so. It's like the picture isn't even in the
document, except I can see it.
I should mention that this document is a full sheet of labels, so it's set
up like a table and the picture is in one of the cells.

In Word 2003 or earlier, display the Drawing toolbar and click on the Select
Objects tool (big white arrow at the left end), which will allow you to
select anything in the drawing layer without touching text. In Word 2007,
this tool is at the right end of the Home tab.
