I have other tables in the document that work fine with the header row
repeating on new pages, but one does not and I have tried everything I can
think of.

You can not have a page break inserted manually anywhere in the table.

Make sure none of the other rows is marked as a header, and that you don't
have the header styled to 'keep with next'

Actually, the heading row *should* be formatted as "Keep with next." Just
make sure that not too many of the following rows are so formatted.

Thank you! I selected the table and removed the repeat as header checkmark
and that worked. This is my first time posting and I'm thrilled!

Thank you. I had a large table and somewhere, a row must have been
incorrectly tagged as a header row (although it didn't show up either). I
just selected the whole table and unchecked the "repeat as header row" box.
Then I selected the row I wanted and re-checked the box and it looks great
now. K.

I tried all the things people advised (checking that other rows were not
designated headers, checking that there were no page breaks etc). In the end
the solution was that in the tables / properties box you must chose 'text
wrapping none'. Suddenly it all fell into place. rows broke over the page and
the header row repeated.
