I'll be working on a document, leave it to copy a Visio drawing for example,
and on returning to the document to paste the drawing, Word does not allow
the mouse to grab sliders, move the cursor to a point in the document, or
block text. Also, some dropdown filename lists (in save, load, etc) are
inverted. Have to save the document, exit and restart Word - documents will
not open if I only close the open document. Cannot have two Word docs open
at same time. Same word config worked OK on an IBM Thinkpad but now has
problems on a Dell Lattitude 630. XP on both. MS Off Pro Word 2003
11.5604.8202.

Update - reinstalled Office Apps on a pristene environment; worked fine.
Yesterday I installed an older PowerDesigner 12.5 from CD, and also was
working with an old Word doc. Problem recurred. I removed the PowerDesigner
Add-In and a previously unknown template, using the Com - Add-Ins and
Templates and Add-Ins from the Tools drop down - Word seems to work fine now.
