Susanne: Read my earlier post carefully. You can set up the macro I give
under Word 2003 without knowing anything much about such things first (I
didn't). You need to use Visual Basic, and I suggest you make use of Word's
help and the internet to see how to create and install the macro. It is
possible to set up the macro to 'bolt onto' a Word 2003 menu (I have it set
up as Format>Normal.NewMacros.RTF_fix).

I found that to fix the rtf files I get from my travel agent so they work
when printed as well as on the screen, that I need to run the macro when in
the 'print layout' view (normally Word will be set up as View>Normal. You
will need to choose View>Print layout).

I find that when set up as described that it does the trick perfectly.
