Post subject: Doesn't find errors
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>word>spelling>grammar (more info?)

Microsoft Office Word 2000.

I checked under "Options" and it looks like the spelling and grammar checks
are not turned off, but when I invoke spell/grammar checker it says the
checking is completed but does not find obvious errors.

Tools > Language > Set Language
Do not check spelling or grammar must be off.
This setting applies only to selected text, so before changing it, select
the appropriate part of your text (eg. entire document).
