Hi I got a computer crash, ran a program a I got my files back but I can open
none of them, when I try to do it this is what I got:
Excel cannot open the file ‘joel.xlsx’ because the file format or file
extension is no valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that
the file extension matches the format of the file.
What can I do about it? Please I need help.

Is some version of Excel currently installed on the computer? If no,
then that is your problem. You need to either install Excel 2007 or
install Excel 2000/2002/2003 with the 2007 compatibility pack available
free from the Microsoft website.
