How do I erase or paint out unwanted lines of a graphic that I have inserted
into a Word document?

Hi Sabrina,
Word doesn't really have a graphics editing tool to do that. You can create a freeform line autoshape to cover/conceal a line or
part of that and group that with the picture, but you'll probably have more success in opening the graphic in a graphic editing
program to modify it.
