I have a 150 page presentation and need to e-mail it in 10 parts of 15 slides
each... If I copy it onto a new page then the set up of the slide get
distorted and the background doesn't copy...

Another approach is to use a free third party service such as yousendit.com.
I can't vouch for them specifically but there are also other similar free
options out there.
This approach might be simpler and avoid the need for the recipient to
correctly reassemble it. For security you could use a password in WinZip to
encrypt it if privacy is an issue.

One of the easiest way would be to save the presentation under 10 different
filenames i.e. Pres1, Pres2, Pres3...Then go into each presentation and
delete the slides not needed in that particular segment

PPT 2003: You can also open up a new presentation > Insert - slides from
files > Browse (locate your doc) > select slides > click on Keep Source
Formatting (to keep the same background). Depress the Control key to select
multiple slides. Also, right below the Display button are the little "view"
buttons. Since you're selecting quite a number, it might be easier to use
the view icon on the right where it lists 10 slide names at a time.
