Post subject: dimensions on spred sheets
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>excel>setup (more info?)

how do i change the columns dimensions to mm or cm?
to work with some cad software i need to integrate spred sheets and the
columns must be precise. for that at least the wide should be in mm or cm.

If you want to use VBA to set height and width in mm.

Ole Erlandson has code for setting row and column dimensions.

The system for row and column dimensions is bullshit. I would guess that
maybe 50,000 people in the USA knows that 72 points is an inch and no one
knows how many letters of any particular font equals one inch.
