I built a task request form in oulook 2007. However if I send it to someone
using 2003 it will not open. Is there a way to make it default to another
field?

What does the subject of your post "date time picker" have to do with your
issue? And what do you mean by "default to another field" -- another field
compared with what?

soory, the date time picker I used on the form will not open in Outlook 2003.
Can I make 2003 use a different field when the DTP is not available?

Use another field for what?
If you're going to design a form that uses a non-standard control, you must
make sure that control is installed on all client computers that will be
accessing the form.
