Post subject: 'only created connection' grayed out
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>excel>worksheet>functions (more info?)

How can I create a connection to a Access 2007 query in Excel 2007 without
creating any kind of table so I can use subtotal? The import data dialog box
has 'Only Create Connection' grayed out. It will only allow some type of
Excel table to be imported and that makes subtotal unavailable. I've tried
importing several ways. I do not want to convert to a range because I need to
be able to refresh the data often.
