I’m trying to create promote box in excel to show that 3 months before the
expiry date. To say that “3 months before expiry consider for renewing”.

Then a day before expiry “1 day before pass expiries”

And after the expiry date “Need reviewing”

Column C2:C90 – are were the dates are stored and need to do a promote box
with these 3 conditions.
And would like to have a promote box appear with the name and expiry showing
or even to colour the cell when 3 month before, 1 day before and after the
expiry date

You may be looking for a conditional format. Take a look here for information
