covert

respected sir/madam,
i need to convert gif document(which alredy convert from word to gif) to the
word document. i tried for it by converting gif to pdf. and then pdf to word.
but i failed here.how can i convert it directly.plz give me a suggetion to
it...

You will need OCR software capable of handling GIF, such as Finereader, or
you will need to convert to a format that your OCR software will handle.

PDF might work if your OCR software can handle PDF format, but simply saving
as Word format from Acrobat would not change it from a graphic. If you
convert the GIF to TIF with suitable software - eg the demo version of
SnagIt (though there are free file converters available if you look
around) - then Microsoft Office Document Imaging (included with recent
versions of Office but not installed by default) *might* be able to convert
it.
