My wife just showed me an "Address Book" icon in her Outlook 2003.

All that does is to present the User with a view of the contacts folder.

I did all this, just as you wrote it and still cannot get my Contacts to
show in the Address Book. Only my LDAP directory is available. Any more
words of wisdom?

After you removed and re-added the Outlook Address Book service to the mail
profile, did you go back the the properties of the Contacts folder and enable
it as an address book?
