Post subject: 2 calendars show up in outlook folders
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>calendaring (more info?)

Recently noticed a 2nd calendar in my personal folders. Not sure how it got
there. When I accept meeting requests from anyone within my organization
they show up in my standard calendar. However, whenever my boss send a
request the meeting shows up in the 2nd calendar. Additionally, my bosses
free busy time will not update in either calendar. But, any other person in
my organizations free busy time is readily available.

I have attempted to delete this 2nd calendar but no luck. Our IT dept. is
stumped as well.

Currently running Outlook 2000

Are both calendar folders named "Calendar"? Are they both in the same set of
Personal Folders or different ones?

Yes, they are both named Calendar. They are in different locations the main
calendar, meaning the one I use daily is in the main Inbox structure. It is
located along the Inbox, Drafts, Deleted Items. The other or 2nd calendar
shows up in the personal folders section. It is this 2nd calendar that only
my bosses meeting requests show up in. And since this 2nd calendar showed up
I cannot update free busy time of my boss. I use Outlook daily but by no
means am I a pro. I am on an exchange server. So my standard inbox drafts
deleted items and calendar are where everything goes until I move into the
personal files down below. The 2nd calendar is in this lower personal folder
area.

Interesting since only the mailbox one should get used. Any particular
reason you've got a PST file also?

I have additional PST files set up for archiving/saving old mail. Ex. I set
up a pst file for 1st half 08. When 1st half 08 is complete I highlight the
entire folder structure and drag into the new folder associated with the new
PST for 1st half 08.
