Hope this helps!

Unblock picture downloads for a single message:
You can unblock downloads of linked pictures and other external content for
a single message that comes from a source that you trust:

Click the InfoBar at the top of the message, and then click Download Pictures.
Note: When you click Download Pictures in a message that you are
previewing in the Reading Pane, the message is automatically saved and
displays the pictures again the next time that you open the message. When you
click Download Pictures in an open message, if you want the message to
display the pictures the next time that you open the message, you must save
the message.

Unblock picture downloads for all messages:
On the Tools menu, click Trust Center, and then click Automatic Download.
Clear the Don't download pictures automatically in HTML e-mail messages or
RSS items check box.

Unblock picture downloads for all messages from a particular e-mail address
or domain:
In an open message that was sent from that e-mail address or domain,
right-click one of the blocked items.
On the shortcut menu, click Add Sender to Safe Senders List or Add the
Domain @domain to Safe Senders List

The problem is that imbeded pictures in incoming emails are not displayed in
the body if one is using Outlook. All other email clients allow the user to
select this option.

Has there been a solution to this question? Microsoft told me that there was
a fix if I paid $139 to them. I checked my registry and couldn't find
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\BlockHTTPImages - anywhere. I
believe that the change came in a update. I didn't have this problem a month
ago. Please let me know if anyone has a solution.

OK I'm trying to change my registry..as I cannot find "BlockHTTPImages". So
how do I add it with the DWORD like Martin did..I'm lost on this kinda
stuff..especially when adding something to the registry..I can find
everything except for the BlockHTTPImages.. when I go to:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\BlockHTTPImages...so what do I do?
How do I do what Martin did with the DWORD?
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks

My Outlook worked fine until about two months ago. Then all of a sudden
embedded pictures (not attached pictures) were no longer viewable. When I
right click on where the picture should be, the only option offered is COPY.

I read all of these posts and many more on the web. It's like Microsoft's
attitude is just "oh well, it's your fault you use our product". If
Microsoft doesn't read these posts and/or other comments on the web, they
should. And then they should do something about it. Pick up a telephone,
call a customer, try to understand the issue that so many people post a
complaint about.

I have a solution that I will happily share with future readers. This is my
last Windows based computer and Microsoft Office Suite / Email product. I
have had it up to my eyeballs and have finally comitted to switch to the far
superior Apple product. I don't feel like I will be giving anything up,
other than system crashes and defective software.

Thanks for nothing to Bill and the folks at Microsoft.
