can't use send as attachment in WindowsLive Mail

I recently purchased a vista machine and installed windows live mail as the
default email system.

In general things are working well. However, using word 2000, I now longer
have the capability to "send to recipient as attachment". The option is
not even grayed out - its just not there


Any ideas??

This option is only available when Outlook or Outlook Express is your default
email program.
Start Internet Explorer, choose Extra > Program's and choose outlook Express
as default.

This should work.
