Using Word 2003 with XP Professional.

Is there a way to have the Work Menu display file names without the path?
It's not a big deal if I can't, but it would make the names easier to read
if it's something I can change.

Since this is a built-in menu there really isn't a way to show file names
only. You'd need to create your own custom menu and add the documents
yourself to view only the file names. Of course that would involve VBA
knowledge and to modify it you'd need to manually modify your menu.

Thanks, Beth! I will keep it as it is since it's not a big issue to me.

I agree, as-is was fine with me too when I used it. Even though I could code
my own 'work' menu it's not worth the effort to modify a cosmetic aspect. No
sense reinventing the wheel. Smile
