Post subject: Word help Archived from groups: microsoft>public>word>application>errors (more info?)
In word 2007 my computer recently has been locking up when I try to open and
close any saved documents. I get the message "microsoft word is not
responding" I have done all updates, my windows defender says everything is
working okay. I did not previously have this problem, so I don't know what
happened. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
You can try following KB article. There is a Guided Help utility you can
run. If this doesnt work, then please lemme know ModName, ModVer of error
(which you will get on the error report)

Have you got an HP printer? If so, try switching to a different printer and
test.
