Hello!

Does anyone know how to make word 2007 open in the webbrowser instead of in
an new window on Vista?

This is not just an issue with Vista. I think this is Office 2007 in General.
for previous versions of office there was a "web Viewer" option in the
installation. I did not see this option in Office 2007.

I rely on this feature heavily as well and would like to see how to get
around it.

Hi Mikael,

I'm not sure if there is anything in Vista that should be different in this regard but turning on the 'browse in same window'
setting as described in Method 1 in this article will still open Word 2007 in IE7 in Windows XP.

But, while you can right click and use the Word 2007 minitoolbar in IE7, the Ribbon doesn't appear. Ctrl+F1, that would toggle the
ribbon to display appears to be intercepted by Internet Explorer help.
