I would guess you are using an InsertDatabase from VBA. The problem with
this is that your control over the layout of the table is very limited. You
/might/ be able to preserve some formatting by using a DATABASE field
instead, with the \*Mergeformat switch, but in my experience it is unlikely
to be reliable and column widths etc. will change from page to page.

For this kind of application I think you have to think in terms of
outputting to a new document, then using VBA to format the tables after the
merge.
