Under the drawing toolbar, I am unable to use the line style or arrow
buttons. I get the drop down, but it's as if it's shadowed. It won't let me
select a line.

Do you have an AutoShape selected when you try?

When I select AutoShape, I don't get the lines I want. The problem I am
having is with the "line style" button under the drawing toolbar. The one
that gives you double line option, bold lines, ect.

Any other ideas? I apprectiate your help!

You have to have a line or shape created & selected *first* - then you can
change its Style to something else. IOW you can't preselect the Style.
