Post subject: Word 2003 closes on pressing enter
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>word>application>errors (more info?)

When I type in Word 2003, as soon as I hit enter, Word closes.
In Outlook it means I can send a mail, as long as I don't hit enter, or the
mail (because of the Word-editir mode I assume) closes as well.
At one point I reinstalled the new machine, gave the user a new profile, a
new network account even, did repairs etc. I'm at a loss.

Word troubleshooting isn't like most other programs in that reinstalling
fixes it. It's generally the normal.dot file. Here's Word (2003 and below)
