Post subject: Weird Info Message at top of my emails Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>general (more info?)
I have Outlook 2002 with SP3 installed - I've used it fine for years. All of
a sudden yesterday, I get a little message at top of emails I've sent with a
yellow-brown backround (same colors as Notes) saying something like this: I
realize its somehow Task related, but I can't figure out how or more
importantly how to get rid of it:

Anyone have any idea what might have gotten turned on, and more importantly
how I get rid of this ! Thank you.

Unfortunately no, no one has responded. I uninstalled and reinstalled
Outlook too, and that did not help either. For now, i am just living with
it.

I think I've found the answer. I have CA Anti-Spam installed and learned there was an update that would fix this problem coming in December. So, I went to CA tonight and got a download of updates, probably about six or eight. I then shut down my Microsoft Outlook and reopened it again, and voila! the strange message was gone. I think I've found the answer. I have CA Anti-Spam installed on my computer. I went to CA and got updates for Anti-Spam (about six or eight of them) downloaded. Then I shut down MS Outlook, and then reopened it again. Voila! The strange message at the top is gone, and gone from all previous e-mails. So, it must have been a glitch with the CA Anti-Spam. Do you have CA AS installed on your computer? If so, get the updates. Chris - Houston

Well, I do have CA AntiSpam, so that definitely sounds like the culprit.
However, I just went to try to update it, and it says I have the most current
version (7.0.0.40), and I still have the problem. But thanks for the lead -
I will try uninstalling CA Antispam.
