Post subject: VBA script does not return SQL server data after Vista Business Reload Add to elertz Archived from groups: microsoft>public>excel>querydao (more info?)
Using Excel 2003 i created an excel with a VBA script that connects to an
SQL 2000 server (i am using ADO) to extract data, put its on the excel then
does some formatting.
Everything was working fine until I had to reload Vista Business. Office
2003 was reloaded, I could get into the excel, could look at the VBA script,
checked that MS Active X was still activated.
The problem is when I execute the VBA script I see that it's working but it
does not get the data from the SQL server. No error messages. Debugging the
script shows no errors either.
It just looks like that something is either not loaded or not "switched on".
I am no expert in VBA and am looking for any suggestion what my problem
could be.
