Word 2007

Hi
I am trying to run a spell check on a document that has obvious spelling
errors.
I get a message saying complete but text marked do not check spelling or
grammar was not checked.

How do I find and replace this text. I cannot see any obvious options on mt
Find and repalce dialoge.

Thanks

Sam

Since presumably you don't want any text in the document to be marked as "do not
check spelling", simply turn off that setting for everything at once. Press
Ctrl+A to select the whole document. Then go to the Review tab of the ribbon,
look in the Proofing group on the left, and click the Set Language button; in
the dialog, clear the check box for "Do not check spelling or grammar" (you
might have to click it a couple of times so it doesn't have either a check or a
color square), and click OK.

Technically, you could do the same with Find/Replace. In that dialog, you'd
click the More button; then with the cursor in the Find What box, click Format >
Language and check the "Do not check spelling" box. With the cursor in the
Replace With box, again click Format > Language and clear the same box. Then
click the Replace All button. However, this is several steps longer than the
other method.
