Post subject: Text over Video background
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>powerpoint (more info?)

When I put a video to play in the background and then put text over it; when
I present the slides, the text appears for about a second and then
disappears. The video continues to play .

I would like to have the video play continuously in the background and have
the text appear on slides following.

I tried pushing video to back and text to front. no help.

Powerpoint 2007 on Vista

Thanks.

Sorry, you can't do what you want. Video always plays in the front. The only
other options are to have the video only cover part of the screen so the
text can appear in the other part or to add the text to your video via
video-editing software.
