Post subject: Template Styles Archived from groups: microsoft>public>powerpoint (more info?)
I have several teams of engineers collaborating on a presentation. With
MSWord files I have provided a dot file with styles defined. Is there a way
to have styles defined in PowerPoint? Example: Team 1 shapes (boxes,
autoshapes, text boxes, etc) need a blue fill with red text and green line
color. Team 2 shapes are orange fill, black text, red lines. Can I make a
Team 1 Box style that will apply the appropriate shade of blue, set the text
color, font and size and set the line color. The engineer would draw a box
and it would display with my defaults from my pot file; and if the box should
represent a Team 2 item, access a drop down list of styles and select Team 2.
Boy I hope that made sense.

Hi Barbara
Have a look at the ShapeStyles add-in. I believe the free trial lets you
create 5 styles so you may not need to purchase the full product http://www.pptools.com/shapestyles/index.html
