My "shrink to fit" option doesn't work.

When I have a large worksheet and select this options, the preview only
shows a single cell with the content of first cell in the worksheet, and
nothing else. This single cell is printed in its normal font size, i.e., no
enlargement, and I can't print the rest of the worksheet

Sometimes the behavior is even stranger: it shows thousands of empty pages ...

Finally, if I manually reduce the scaling option (i.e., from 100% down to
90%, 80%, etc..), it doesn't reduce the spreadsheet, but rather enlarge it,
so that in a single sheet I can print fewer rows and columns as in the 100%
base case. By the way, if I try the opposite approach (i..e, setting a 200%
factor), very little changes

FYI: I tried also to manually remove or set page breaks, but no luck

Any help? I couldn't find any similar behavior anywhere on the Internet

Bob

Hi,

Select the entire range you want to print and choose File, Print Area, Set
Print Area
Now go to File, Page Setup and choose the Page tab and click Scale, Fit to
and put in what you want in pages wide by tall. 1 by 1 will fit the entire
print range on a single sheet.

Note this has nothing to do with the Shrink to fit option - all that does is
squeeze the text in the current cell down to a size that fits in than cell
without wrapping the text or changing the font size.
