Post subject: Sentence would not wrap to next page
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>word>application>errors (more info?)

On two seperate occassions this week, I was typing a document in Word and
when I got to the last line, it didn't wrap to next page. Sometimes the
curser would disappear and nothing more happened, sometimes the curser moved
from the last letter on the page to about 10 lines up. I finally was able to
proceed to the next page by inserting a page break after the last word on the
first page(Contr-enter). Never had that happen before. Anyone know why it
happened and how to avoid it. By the way, I was simply typing a page, no
table or anything exotic.

If that happens again, open the Format > Columns dialog, select the one-column
icon (even if it appears to be selected already), and click OK. We don't have a
good explanation for why this works, but it usually does.
