Section break after TOC

I have composed a TOC which appears on the second page.
Everytime I regenerate the TOC it inserts a Section Break Continuous
after and I cannot work out why. I really want a Next Page Section
Break. If I insert a Next Page section break and delete the Section
Break Continuous the Next Page section break turns into a Continuous
break?


How do I control this?

It always helps us help you if you include the version of Word
involved in a problem.

What you describe was common in Word 2000/2002 (section breaks
changing type). You need to set the "Section Start" in File/Page
Setup, the Layout tab.
