Post subject: Search for Contact - Not Found (Until Switching Views) Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>bcm (more info?)
Hi,
I have been working with Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager for
about 6 months. I moved from ACT!, and I'm still trying to get used to the
differences.
I am experiencing a problem with searches. If I type a name into the search
box, I often receive a message that no contacts can be found. I know the
contact is in the database. If I switch views (for example, from "Business
Cards" to "Address Cards"), the contact(s) is shown.
(I wonder if this is similar to a problem I have in Outlook Mail where some
email messages don't show up in the inbox until I switch to another folder
(for example, from "Inbox" to "Outbox", and then back to "Inbox").)

Jeff: Check this.
Open Outlook
Click Contacts in the lower left nav bar
Open the drop down list for the item "All Contact Items" in the upper left
All times are: Eastern Time (US & Canada) (change)
