Post subject: Saving Distribution Lists Received By Email Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>contacts (more info?)
Hi,
I have searched a number of forums and been unable to find the answer to
this question.
My colleague (also using Outlook 2003 on the same network as me) emailed me
one of her distribution lists. We do not want to "share" our contacts with
each other, but I would like to save this distribution list into my own
contacts. Is there a way of doing this?
I have tried opening the distribution list, using Edit, Copy and then Going
to my Contacts folder to Edit, Paste, but this doesn't seem to work. I end
up with a new empty distribution list. The contacts don't pull across.

If they sent it as an attachment to a RIch Text message, you should be able
to simply drag the attachment to your Contacts folder.
