Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>installation (more info?)

When trying to save a task or reminder I get an error message that states
"The messaging interface has encountered an unknown error, if the problem
persists, restart Outlook". Restarting and/or rebooting does not help. What
can I do to correct the issue?

Does this also happen when using Outlook in Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

Tried a repair on Office already?
