I just dumbly removed SQL Server from my Office 2007 running on XP,
and now Outlook BCM obviously can't find the database because it's
gone. Sad I have tried 'Repair' with the Office 2007 CD, and 'Add' for
Outlook 2007 entirely, without success. Found BCM on Office2007
Disk2, but that setup failed, saying needs 'setup' disk. Do I need to
remove Outlook and reinstall it? Thanks!

Also noticed that MSAccounting 2008 needs it to and may need
reinstallation. If it's on disk2, how/what is (re-)needed from
disk1? Thanks.

You don't need to remove Outlook.

The BCM Setup should reinstall it if it's not there. Try uninstall
BCM, and then running its setup again.
